Friends?

Friends?

A Poem by The Seasonal Girl

Dear friend
we won't gel
I am a picture
full of colors
and you are looking
for a blank canvas
The image
you want to paint
would spoil my beauty
And the narccist in me
isn't happy
For
you would fill me
with greys and blues
you may taint

my muse

Lets remain strangers

walk on same road, but at different pace

Let me know

if you still want to be friend

when you turn bright

while I fade.

I really like your poems. I've only been on Writer's Cafe for ~3 days now and I really like reading deep poets, who don't need to rhyme in every line. Keep up the good work. BTW: Please stop by my Writer's Cafe page. On my profile, I have the link to my website called, "It's Not All Gumdrops And Unicorns." On my site, you'll read my entries from here, Xanga, Blogster, and newer entries, that I have only posted on It's Not All Gumdrops And Unicorns. I hope to see you there! :)
