A Moonless Night

A Moonless Night

A Poem by zirk

A brown sky over a still, black lake
It seems all life has left this place
You are the moon and I am the meadow
Completely unseen and covered in shadow

This reads from the POV of someone with a bit of a slant of humanity, but worth a read and then some.

About
I express my emotion through poetry. I don't think it is a talent of mine; my creativity is better focused and more comfortable writing reports or essays where I don't have to hide behind symbols. .. more..
