Anxiety

Anxiety

A Poem by Thiago Phelippe Da Gama Soares

Your mind fights against you,
The hands getting cold,
The heart is running too fast,
You feel at this time "I gonna die, now?"
Those unpleasant feelings,
Are hiding the slavery from your desires!
The present isn't like a perfect sunshine rainbows,
Your deeply dreams are shouting to become true,
But your body found out the present couldn't change now,
The heart runs too fast to prepare your body for running,
Running to scape from deceptive reality...
For instant, you feel out from that present moment, and everything is running in circles...
Where is the air? I can't breath
And breath becomes very difficult...
This isn't not a real disease
It's just a fight between present and future
Between brain and your body
Between deceptive reality and unrealized dream.
It isn't easy say that all things has own right time.
And hard to convince the heart all this it's a illusion...
Checking the bloody pressure every time,
and see how much pressure are you feeling to find out that your dream is far away to becomes true.
Why time do not pass quickly?
Why my body is reacting against to present?
It's hard to try to sleep now
Just breath... Everything will be fine...
Your muscles are relaxing now...
And this mortal feeling has gone!
And all this, it's just simple confused idea...
This is Anxiety...
