For Love's Sake

For Love's Sake

A Poem by Sarah Marie

Little lost lover has a broken heart,
One she shall never mend on her own;
For the man who took her tore it apart
And it can never be patched or sewn.
Lonely lost lover walks along in a daze,
Deciding on how she will make him pay
For the damage that was done and all to follow,
Her shattered heart left empty and hollow.
Loveless lost Molly sneaks away with the knife
And strolls towards his house to end his sad life;
He hears her knocking and falls with a start
As content loveless Molly starts stabbing his heart.

A little spooky and sad at the same time. Great rhyming and story in general. Great poem.
