Storm Cloud Eyes

The rain

Washes away the tears

But can only cloak

The pain;

Heartache still remains

In the midst a storm,

Pretending to disappear.

It carelessly lies,

Concealing the tears cried

Until dry eyes 

Can be true and have no need

For a rainy day’s disguise.
