The Graduation Song

The Graduation Song

A Poem by Sarah Marie
"

Graduation is just a few weeks away! ---a series of haikus to celebrate.

"

Graduation sings

Its bipolar song, earning

Seniors’ smiles and tears;

The real world beckons:

The grim reaper’s in a suit"

So begins the end

Of small dorm-room days

And long library nights spent

Studying for this.

So we see the light,

Dressed in black robes and white strings"

Tomorrow begins.

It took me a moment to realize they were merely haikus - they're strung so well together in every way imaginable. Nicely done! This is rather hard to pull off, but you did so flawlessly. Way - To - GO! Much enjoyed this!
