Alone By Myself

Upstairs in my room

I hear them laugh

As music fills my ears

And tears fill my eyes

They're happy without

Me...

I start to isolate from them

Staying in my room a lot

Just to avoid the pain they cause

But they don't seem to notice 

That I'm slowly fading

Away...

I stop talking so much

To the people that act

Like they actually care because

I'm tired of people I love

And trust causing me so much

Pain...

I slowly escape from so many

Friendships that were going so wrong

And I avoid human contact as much 

As I can and I start to realize

That no one is there now and I'm all 

Alone...
