questioning

A Poem by tiefightersunite
"

another prompt from class, endless questions.

"

How did you get here?

Did you wake up on time today?

Do you like the sound of your own voice?

Or the look of your own face?

Are you in a good mood?

Do you ever think about death right before bed?

And when you do, can you ever get to sleep?

What song is stuck in your head right now?

Do you like pop tarts or toaster strudels?

Have you ever seen a dead body?

Do you get goosebumps easily?

Have you ever purposely forgotten your umbrella in the rain so that someone might offer you sanctuary under theirs?

Why did you last get goosebumps?

When did you last bathe?

Have you ever dyed your hair unnatural colors?

When did you get your first F?

Did you used to eat the glue off your fingers in elementary school?

Who is your favorite non-famous person in all the world?

How would you spend $500 right now?

Do you twirl your spaghetti or cut it?

Do you remember who you first hated as a child?

Whose bed did you sleep in last night?

Were you cold?

Tea or coffee?

How many songs do you always skip on shuffle?

Would you rather live forever or live fast, die young?

What is your favorite fantasy world?

Do you think you’re a good person?

Who would you like to punch in the face right now?

Have you ever felt so alone you could just die?

Where are you going?
