The Monkey

The Monkey

A Poem by Timothy
"

What do you do when the monkey has fleas? Do you put it to sleep?

"

If you have to kill the monkey,

cause you think that it has fleas.

If you have to kill the monkey,

cause it ruins all the trees.

If you have to kill the monkey,

and you accidently do --

you will be paranoid to find out,

that the monkey is you.

This is a wonderful piece and it does remind me of Shel Silverstone. Nicely done.
