Fever Lucky

Fever Lucky

A Poem by Nisreen

Thinking a dismay
Though incapable of much

Light comes out
Children sing and play

The castle of golden gates
Opens up tonight

White wings flow out the river sound
Harps wed two in love

Doves of peace wire a crown of flowers
Roses sit on a scarlet letter

A king embraces his daughter
Kissing the forehead of thought

Carpets start to fly
Enchanted princes ride

Chantilly cream throws on the ground
Red deep in running colors

Though held to a limited space
Flying above in grace
