Social JusticeA Poem by Tiberio TanoBorn of the giants, of gods, of ancient beasts Struggling to live, to love, just to exist Our deepest fears, our greed, our greatest task We lose ourselves in pain, in social masks Let him who preaches justice to the world Kill innocence for gain, for shiny gold It’s me, just me, you don’t exist my friend Except to serve the rich, to curse the land You’re nothing without me, you’re simply lost I only will survive, at any cost On your emaciated carcass will I walk You do the dirty work, I do the talk Yet I know well, unless you finally wake I will destroy your life, my future break And with that evil thought inside my head I go to hell for us, but we’re all dead © 2014 Tiberio TanoFeatured Review
