Social Justice

Social Justice

A Poem by Tiberio Tano

Born of the giants, of gods, of ancient beasts

Struggling to live, to love, just to exist

Our deepest fears, our greed, our greatest task

We lose ourselves in pain, in social masks

Let him who preaches justice to the world

Kill innocence for gain, for shiny gold

It’s me, just me, you don’t exist my friend

Except to serve the rich, to curse the land

You’re nothing without me, you’re simply lost

I only will survive, at any cost

On your emaciated carcass will I walk

You do the dirty work, I do the talk

Yet I know well, unless you finally wake

I will destroy your life, my future break

And with that evil thought inside my head

I go to hell for us, but we’re all dead

Jesus Christ`s nailed because of our sins but he forgiven us all for the sins cus, he knows, he still loves us all. Humans can`t stop makin` sins because it`s in their veins or in genes already, they`re helpless but when they knew how to become the master of thoughts... they turn the sins to their virtue. Your poem`s very thoughtful and the way you write`s beautiful ... it makes an interest to read your work with attention. I like the poem, the concept you came up with. Beautiful poem! ;)

Intense political views hidden between the lines of this well written poem. So provocative and certainly thought provoking. A good piece of poetry. Lydi**

Very cerebral and otherwise thought provoking, creative and deceptively deep me thinks. I particularly like the last line of the first verse............ Cheers, your friend N

This is my rage at the 'justice' the rich inflict on the rest. My silent scream at the machine.
