Forever Yours

Forever Yours

A Poem by topsyturvy

What is this thing called love?

That men and women flock all over the world

In search of happiness and unyielding passion.

It strives to tell of a wonderful love affair.

But heeds in enjoyment as though one's love is impaired.

As I tell my tale of wonders to come

These feelings succumb to an unnatural ground.

As though love lost can once again be found.

---

Such exquisite beauty that flares from within.

The excitement it fills from the pious core

Of the shattered Earth.

Fledgelings from above, the mighty heavens of wonder.

The sheer loss of gravity as it falls..

To deep slumber.

Lying in its wake

From immortality.

Such a pleasurable torment.

To see the light of forever wrapped in your embrace.

Very nice Topsyturvy. The ending line is very fitting. That light... Such a feeling...
