that which flows from the mouth

that which flows from the mouth

A Poem by nikki lea

Letters put together in a stream that flows tween the lips and spills from the tounge,

They can bewilder the mind and engulf the body in flames of passion sent straight to the soul

Discouragement and pain, depression and sadness to the point of no end,

Youll sit there and wonder why crying out to god, where is the bend?

That point in the road where you make a choice of two,

Down into the dark depths that you will not climb from, it shall become your tomb.

Or out of the hole and into the light where it hurts your eyes but you have survived.

words has a power to heal or destroy and it is in the mind that the direction is set

semantics are a way to play a dangerous game depending on the partner

my partner is in waiting, words are my game and i enjoy the path that you can stumble or run

i run, fast and sure stumbling but little. it is my throne and my home that i know well
