Driftwood

Driftwood

A Poem by Tori Heales

Place me in the sea like driftwood watch me float away

May my tears merge in the salt water fade left to stray

I see your body but you disappeared gone no more

Why aren’t you sorry how can’t you see your major flaw

I can’t begin to forgive because you didn’t try for us

Being told you’re no good by the one you love

Writing is a release. All of my work comes from the heart expressed through the head, if these experiences weren't had first hand, they were lived through my freinds and family, all of which are dear .. more..
