My Soul is Dead

A person who is no good for you will destroy your mind, body, and soul.

I was dumb to fall for you

I should have known you were a loser

The signs were all there and of course I chose to ignore

I was lonely and very insecure

Lies you kept telling me to get me to come back to you

Gifts you kept giving me to make me keep forgiving you

Good love you kept giving me kept me falling back in love with you         

Tears I cried constantly

Heartbreak like I never known before

I’m so tired

This time I’m done

Until you come back after I haven’t heard from you in a while

A knock on my door to hear you tell me lies that I've fallen for again 

For me to fall back into your arms and then into your bed

You are no good for me, but I choose to ignore all the signs

My soul is dead
