You stayed by my side when I was going through wild and crazy times

Transitioning into a woman yet still a girl

Never did I imagine a strong black man coming into my world.

I was so used to the same games played by men

My mind, body, and soul was so mess up back then.

Now I truly believed God sent you to save me

To released my eyes of blindness before I fall

To show me what true love really is

To grow up and be a woman.

And I did.

Because of you Baby I know what it feels like to be loved

And how to be treated like a lady

You have made my heart whole again
