A Poem by transentience

Every reason happens to have
An answer to it in happenstance
Whose questions we seek and can only ask
Because our instincts discovered their paths
We fail to consider our humble past;
That the will to survive is more than a task
To feed and to quench and to haplessly spread
Our seed and our ways; its what nurtures us back
To stand where we stand to know we belong
The reasons we have we've had all along

Author's Note

transentience
This piece centers around the idea of discovery and what truly matters. It considers the fact that our ability to question things is limited by the knowledge we have, and that we often find answers without question, and those are the answers that usually matter most. The universe is an ever receding reservoir of discovery, we have all the answers we need but often get lost in questions that have no meaning. I sure as hell do at least.

thought provoking poem ..enlightened by your Note ... makes me think of my question that pops up when deep wells are probed .."why why?" ;)

your title hooks me ..very intriguing as i looked for an answer as to it significance ... tho it really doesn't matter .. i like your closing lines ...we can miss so much by being everywhere other than where we "am" :))
