I have come to the conclusion
that sorrow has come
to stretch out my heart
for the expansiveness of love

lynn, It's true, sorrow opens the heart and stretches the ability for the heart to become more available, more open to other emotions. One's heart, now more open and available, can then process these other emotions in more thorough ways. Love, perhaps only one of the emotions stronger than sorrow, can then expand the heart's capacity for such a deep abiding love. An extremely giving write, packaging such emotion shrouded in imagery into such a small number of words. Exceptional piece! take care...dan
