Death Wish

i didn't mean to get so close to you
i never dreamed you would mean this much to me
i didn't think i wanted what you gave me
and you gave me so little
i gave you the world
and you threw a handful of dirt in my face
my casket was your arms
my death wish was your kiss
you killed me and i let you
you killed me and i loved you
i loved you and all i wanted was for you to be happy
you wanted the same
for yourself
you just wanted to be happy
so when you led me to trust you
you led me towards my doom
and even with a death wish
secure in my fist
i never thought it would come like this
