reasons you should choose me

here's why it should be me

Because i never touch your eyes
And i remember not to squeeze your sides
Because i'll always hold your hand
And remind you that you are an amazing man
Because i always say goodnight
Because you always squeeze me tight
But then i realize that there are few
True reasons i should be chosen by you
Because she is prettier than i 
Because her eyes light up the sky
Because your hand always finds her waist
And you search for her in a crowded place
Please don't forget about me too
Because i always search for you
She makes you laugh when she's around
But i pick up the pieces when you break down
Yet i'm not enough to bide your time
And you no longer question why i'm only fine
i should have made you pinky swear
When you said you'd choose me over her
Now i am always trying to show
You why you shouldn't let me go

because i’m always on the phone

when you feel sad and so alone

because $20 didn’t scare me away

even when i found out why you got paid

because i just wanted to take care of you

because you told me you wanted me too

but the reason i most think that you should choose me,

is because nobody else wanted to

and this feeling unwanted is slowly killing me

this could use work. first: you need stanzas. second: the long lines bog down some of the sentences. third: certain lines don't relate to the reader. $20 dollars didn't scare me away? why you got paid?

my writing generally flows as such, i intentionally didn't use stanzas, and yes certain lines don't relate to the reader, they relate to the person it's about
