The Tree

The Tree

A Poem by The Violent Wolf
"

I first wrote this for my freshmen english class. We had to find a part in the book "To Kill a Mockingbird" that we liked, then write a poem about it.

"
Pale moonlight broke,
Over a mighty oak.
A flash of silver in the night;
The disappears out of sight.

The tree shivers all around,
Over the dark soaked ground;
Beneath the sleepy leaves,
A still form bleeds.
