Summer rain

Summer rain

A Poem by Twistedwords
"

Without the bitter, the sweet isn't as sweet -Mayday Parade

"

He came into my life like summer rain

Sudden, strong, but beautiful

Cooling the earth from the heat

Crashing down in rhythm, so musical

He inspired me like a song on repeat

I can’t help but sing along

Playing over and over again in my head

I can listen to him for hours long

He loved me like the wind

With the soft breeze brushing against my face

I can’t see it, but I can feel it

From his tender kisses to his warm embrace

He came into my life like summer rain

...And left me tragically like a hurricane

I like the idea of this, but would of kept each line in the past tense as it was over. Valentine
