Over the mountain

Over the mountain

A Poem by Nassira
"

i was on a dream cloud when I wrote this one :)

"

Over the mountain

Who knows what to be found on the other side?

The mystery is grand; the question unanswered

What would be the theme? The subject is wide.

No emptiness of heart … integrity well anchored.

May be other species of all varieties?

Some flying, while others hop to their destination.

Creatures of light with fewer ambiguities.

In full contentment of serene meditation.

The journey seems endless before reaching the top.

Why does it take so long before change of scenery?

Once the story is over, the curtain suddenly drops.

Revealing a delight, with all its greenery.

Over the mountain I imagine a rainbow.

Made out of pastel colors, sparkling in the rain.

No aggressive clouds … neither pain… nor sorrow

All it is to be found is a spiritual gain.

This is a thoughtful, gentle, beautiful piece of work. You really have a gift.

I can't quite decide whether or not 'the other side' is death, or, what could happen on another planet, or, literally on the other side of a mountain - a Shangri La, perhaps. Maybe it doesnt really matter because you write about the alternatives of another place and, consequently, make the reader think.

'Creatures of light with fewer ambiguities... In full contentment of serene meditation' - that's lovely.

As previously, your technical skill is so fine plus, your post is laid out legibly which makes it even more pleasurable.

Thank you for sharing, Nassira.

I loved your treatment of the metaphoric "over the mountain," something we all wonder about but few can express as well as you have in this poem.

Over the hill top, beyond the veil--there is mystery, whether speaking in metaphors or not. Let us find rainbows, green pastures and flowers, as you imagine. A beautiful piece of writing, Nassira.

As always, your work is beautiful with a lovely flow, I loved the imagery and the fact that your writing is always a salute to the Creator.
