Come Together

Come Together

A Poem by KeelyJane

Observe the substance that surrounds you
The depths and the shallows
Open your eyes to the mediocre
Trigger epiphany of the Hallows

Embrace everything as though it matters
Hold tight onto all things big and small
Absorb what you need into your empathy
Manifest into the mind of us all

A spoken word blossoms
The blooming of a common thought
Give back what you take in
Turn a little into a lot

Solitude darkens the spirit
Exposure brings the heart light
Shine your wisdom within us
Poets unite

Beautiful work...the beauty, true beauty of the poet is the ability to express the inexpressible. I have a different perspective on 'solitude'. Solitude is the place we go to seek inner enlightenment--it is loneliness that darkens and desolates the soul.

Namaste and Blessed Be

Arm raised in solidarity! "Poets Unite" Such a lovely, spirited write! "Trigger epiphany" "Embrace everything" I am embracing this poem and it's sentiment for sure; give back what you take in... Brilliant.

That's what poets do...make a lot out of a little...turn a passing thought into a picture poem...

I really liked this stanza. I like the idea of "giving back" as much as you take in, because I don't think enough people do this. I'm a giver, but I've met a lot of takers in my time, who tend to abuse people like me. This is a soulful write to be sure. I find the beauty in the words slightly intoxicating. Well done.

I am definitely in only if I can dare compare to you. Great poem Keely. And it is up to the title in my eyes. Keep writing for us all.

I am in my humble opinion not that good of a poet, and I am not sure as to whether my wisdom is the wisest kind, but I hope to answer your battle cry if all of that doesn't disqualify me. As usual your poems delight my soul.
