Chance at Happiness

Chance at Happiness

A Poem by Laura Ex

Rip apart the moonlight

Scratch at all the fear

The darkness seems like

It's the only thing that's real

Echoe all these movements

The butterflies are dead

Symbols of time and life

Your name passes through my head

Like hazy, glassed over, foggy

What is real anyway?

What is dead anyway?

Surely something unlike this.

Let's take a chance at happiness.

Take away the dross and all thats left is the beauty. Take away the hurt of the years and happiness has a chance. Great Poem. Thanks for sharing, Barb
