Hiding Safety

Hiding Safety

A Poem by Laura Ex

I
Hide away inside myself
So you
Cannot get closer,
I
Bleed alone by myself
So they
Don't call me poser.
As long as my
Ribs are mine,
And yours
Are yours apart;
I'll always be
Safely tucked
Inside my torn up heart.
