Ballad of DepravityA Poem by unsavable_soulI wrote this when I was lost and waiting for who I "thought" was the love of my life.
Within a heart words forever unspoken.
Like quite vows still yet unbroken. Why must one wait to learn from mistakes, till the chance is to late. Left forever in the cold arms of fate... sealed with a voice like a kiss of hate. Loves lips deep red, the color angels bled. Why now so far, my angels kiss, that elaquent bliss. perfection in verse and depravity to perverse to converse in any further length. Love has to much conviction and I to much pride, neither bow nor falter in stride. This place I reside, between the whole of sorrow, and the hole of truth. It's quite noisy when no one talks at all, the sound a deafening wall. The sound of love saying goodbye is all the echo I need, planted in the base of my skull like an unforgiving nerve of greed, planted as love's co-dependent seed. Love is quick to flee, quick to wish to be free. But free is only as far as the eye can see, and I see Love, though love chooses not to see me. So I wait, I and love waits, now two forever entwined fates. Learn your lesson well for love only speaks thrice, twice,once... love waits, true love survives the miss guided fates... and waits... waits...
