Declaration

A Poem by Shae
"

People let us down. I just write about it.

"
My love for you
Is at it's end.
Now, on you,
I no longer depend.

You stupid idiot,
With all your stupid lies.
I believed them all.
How could I be so blind?

What it is,
I don't have a clue,
But you were the one,
I wanted to run to.

How is it,
That you sit there everyday
Knowing and seeing
That I'm in pain?

I need a second chance,
Another time around
Just to prove I can be your everything,
And I'll pick myself up off the ground.

With a peace from just friendship,
I will carry on.
I will sleep at night,
And once again, I will be strong.

Without your hand,
I will fall.
But with our friendship,
We both will stand tall.

(My love,
until the day I die,
I will always be
right by your side.)
Maybe.
