There's Beauty in the Small Things

There's Beauty in the Small Things

A Poem by unsure
"

I was inspired by hands, so small and uninteresting yet the symbolise so much and the things you do with your hands define you as a person.

"
In a world so large
What are we really?
We are but a grain of sand
In the desert of existance
But if you look around
You see the world is full of beauty
And the beauty of life
Can be shown is such small ways

For example, a hand
Holds beauty in its palm
And so insignificant
Yet signifies so much

I came to the realisation
That if you can't see the beauty
In a single fingernail
Then there's nothing left to see

I get where you're coming from. Although in my eyes sometimes I'm frightened by my hands. The way they bend and twist is alien-like to me haha.
The thought of existence like a grain of sand in a desert was a great analogy.
We really are specks.

This is more of an inspiring read test somewhat reminds me of my own writing style. Also portraying the controversial topic of beauty, what is beauty, and who or what can be beautiful. In reality I believe everything to be beautiful. C:

Good write nonetheless.

Stranger.
