On Some Days

On Some Days

A Poem by A Stranger's Tale
"

I won't tell if you won't tell.

"
Some days you feel like you can run with the wind
Muscle, bones and blood all coordinating in absolute harmony
A symphony of veins align as the red liquid pumps its natural state
Around the world, you grew up in and were taught to hate

Some days you feel like just drowning in the sea.
Drifting endlessly in the salty waters waiting to be submerged into the abyss
Unsure of when the strong current pulls you deep in
Or the magnificent tidal waves with the hopes that god abolishes all your sins
Some days you feel like the sun will come alive
With a beam of light reflecting the natural state of the universe
Shining upon the paleness of your skin as it lights up the skin of your face
Inhaling the fresh air as you contemplate the good nature of men and the human race
And other times you wish that your existence was a mere dream
Fading in and out as you struggle to choose the mortality of fate
Unable to decide which world or grass you desire to lean on to
A fence that has been set up in which your last option is to decide what you wish to do
But the people that breathe in this place with death as their final fear
For their lineage maybe lost, the last of their undying race
And as you struggle to contemplate which holds closer to you near
Fortunately, for me, I am once again and always have been, never here.
