My Ketamine

My Ketamine

A Poem by A Stranger's Tale

They promise you happiness, but they dont tell you it is short-lived.

They promise you company, but they don't tell you that it doesn't stay.

They promise to be close to you, but they dont tell you they will stray

They make you feel like your in forever, when it's just a an hour of today.

They promise you you'll be something beautiful, a masterpiece they say.

But don't tell you you've turned.

Turned into a monster.
