Slowly she curves around the bends

Deceiving the enemy and burning the bridges down to embers

She sighs at her cold heart and asks it to stop beating

As they throw another arrow she casts another blow

Punishing the innocent had never met her needs

They said it was none of her business who he had laid with before

But her heart was torn to shreds. So she took offense and headed west
