Bleeding Out of Poison.

Bleeding Out of Poison.

A Poem by Toni Nicole

bleeding out the poison
to find the truth you often speak
a search to find the strength in me
to coax away the weak

there's an ignorance inside, we speak
and never seem to live
the advice in which we pride ourselves
where we'll form and always give

but in the self lies no such truth
no hint nor evident fact
that the words we speak could lead our lives
and prove more than a pact

for some others following, gave to hold our ties
as we watch them take the blows
we weld ourselves guilted tides
diffusing truth we should have known

we lie herein the crime we shun
and never dare admit
we ourselves have no righteous stand
when we're all so full of s**t.
