slavery

slavery

A Poem by vaishnavi

FEEL THEIR PAIN
FEEL THEIR TEARS
WHAT DO WE GAIN
LIVING THEM BEHIND IN FEARS
FIRST THEY USED TO LAUGH
BUT NOW THEY ARE BEHIND THE CHAIN
THERE WERE THE OLDEN TIME
WHERE THEY WERE SOLD
MILLIONS OF BONDED LABORS
IN THE PRICE OF GOLD
THEY WERE FORCED TO WORK
DAY AND NIGHT
FORGETTING THE HAPPINESS AND THAT LUXURY
THE SLAVERY ACT PASSED
BUT THE SLAVERS ARE STILL BUY AND SOLD
THE TIME HAS CHANGED AND THE WAY TOO
BUT THERE ARE STILL  SLAVERS
PEOPLE PRETEND TO BE GOOD
BUT LEAVE SLAVERS BEHIND WITHOUT FOOD
THE WAY OF TREATING THEM WAS BAD
WHETHER IN THE OLDEN TIMES
OR THE MODERN AGE
THEY BUY AND SALE SLAVES LIKE THE PIGEONS IN THE CAGE

GUYS IF U HELP EVEN 1 OF THEM THE GOD WILL FORGIVE ALL OF YOUR MISTAKES. THEY ARE SOLD TO WORK AND ARE FORCED TO WORK
 FEEL THEIR PAIN
 FEEL THEIR TEARS...

great poem, it really tells and asks everyone the slaver's stories. Ones that they can't retell now, we've pushed them too hard... what do we gain from slavery? Instead, we lose things. We lose so many people, and we lose our respect. They're people, they're human, just like you and me. Nobody deserves that kind of harsh treatment. not to mention, we lose potential happiness by just having people in the world, and we lose our way of life.
Love this poem, perfect for everyone in denial of the harsh ways others have treated humans.
