Reprise: The F Word

I will be set free,
A caged bird never
Taught to soar,
Water with no
Riverbed to guide.
It will be for
My own good.

A Nervous Nelly by
Nature, I'm not
In it to win it.
I just want words
To be my whips.
Written to right
Angles I made to
Suit you and you and you.

This makes me question the goodness of freedom. Isn't freedom a paradox, though? Through freedom many only find their own restrictions which can be far more painful that the restrictions of others.

"I'm not in it to win it" - who likes competitive people anyway? competitive people make my eye twitch ever so slightly
