In fond remembrance of my school buddies!!!

I want back those days…

When

 ‘Smile’ was not for a picture!

‘Tear’ was not for a lost race!

Yes! I admit….

Even then I smiled…

But only to my friend’s love for me!!!

Even then I cried…

But only to a fight with a friend!!!

Smile was always amplified…

With every lips taking a turn,

To have a curve and join my joy!!!

Tear was always vanished…

So magically with every darling words

And every little finger that wiped it off!!!

Never minded a perfect picture…

But joy was always ultimate!!!

Never minded losing a race…

But a hug anytime was just enough!!!

Every time I fell off to sand

Tiny little fingers dusted it off

And prepared me for a new challenge!!

Every time I touched the peak

Lips smiled for me in silence

And prayed for a new breakthrough!!

Suddenly then things changed…

To pen a chapter so new…

To make all my dreams come true…

Flying from the land was inevitable!!!

A place full of strangers…

Language of technology…

Kills the heart every day!!!

I yearn for the day,

When

We spoke up without logic…

We blabbered without meaning…

We idolized dravids and sachins…

We reviewed all the latest hits…

The day still remains in the heart!!!

Yes! The farther I went,

The closest I lost!!!

Here in the dark corner,

I dream of going back to school someday,

To gossip with you about the teachers again…
