Pedestal

Pedestal

A Poem by Tara

i've got a pedestal just perfect for you.
it's even got room for your friends.
you may need a ladder to get to it
and you best be careful once you're up there
you could really damage that perfect a*s
falling from that height and all of us little people
might get crushed under the weight of you
and your heavy morality
but go ahead and sit up there
i've even had your name engraved in Gold
and i hear the view is marvelous
you can give all the advice you want
and we wont  be able to hear a damn word.

This is sarcastic and witty,
we all know someone who preaches from the pulpit so to speak
'and we won't be able to hear a damn word' Just perfect, that is the view from down here, isn't it
You are very talented Tara
