Some men speak in metaphors
Analogies and such
While others offer straight talk
Though they don't deliver much
And time after time you've been taken
You saw the Emperor's clothes
You've paid for salvation mail-order
And tried to see God with stones
You're what we call a true believer
Loyal until the bitter end
As long as it's an ideology
You'd rather break than bend
But I know these words won't reach you
There's too much on the line
How can you bring down the walls of dogma
Without them collapsing on your mind
