Mouth open words escape me.

Mouth open words escape me.

A Poem by Josh Clifton

I look at you
Words prepared to say
But when i open my mouth
My head says not today

So i wait until the next
Ready to say how i feel
But once again im left
Saying whats not real

No matter how close i come
To saying whats true
I still cant say face to face
How much i do care for you.

I understand this so well. Sometimes no matter how much we want to we just cant express how we really feel.

I know this feeling.. it is a good poem .. say it .. say it..
that screams out to me.. easy to say , hard to do.
