Path of Gold

Path of Gold

A Poem by WindSong

Path of Gold

I walk along a path,

Between the shadows of the trees;

Beneath their bending limbs,

I seek their warm and gentle breeze.

I love the wonder of the spring,

In its beauty, I behold!

The scent of early morning dew,

The center of its soul.

I walk along a path of emerald,

To a glistening path of gold;

I bathe in wet sand by the sea,

Its soft and gentle winds I hold.
