Weeping Willow

Weeping Willow

A Poem by WindSong

Weeping Willow

I will embrace your essence

And hold you lightly in my breeze,

On long hot summer days

Beneath my swaying leaves.

I will be your canopy

In the haze and misty rain,

And shelter you from a stormy sky,

Before the sun shines once again.

I will wrap my flowing limbs

Around you tenderly,

And caress your weeping soul

That blows through me.

I loved this! I personally love the weeping willow tree. I think they are beautiful and when I stand beneath them I feel all these things that you expressed in this poem. Well done!
