fear of what you can do and undo

I could do it,I think i could
But what will others say
I could make it work,If i try
But what will they think of me

It is real,It seems so
But people said its fake
Do i have the courage to go very far ?

I am more than what others think i am

I've always found fear an interesting topic to write upon. There's fear of failure but there's also fear of success. I felt like this was well done but certainly could be expanded a bit more.

Oh my god this is too true I go through the same problem took the words right out of my mouth..I too am trying to free myself from certain binds that I think keep me down but it's me whos putting them on because of fear "could live a lie,to satisfy them " by far my favourite line. Well done describes my situation perfectly.

dang so true. Where is that line? The line where you hold back from saying things to someone because of what they will think of you. Honestly, the only way to know is to just say it, and if they tell you they don't want to talk about it anymore then there is your answer. I wish I had more courage. . .

i know where these feelings coming from... i have had those days when i questioned my worth and only cared about others' opinions... but after so much struggle with my own worth i have discovered something that if you meet 100 people today, 90 of them don't think about you because they are busy with their own problem and from the other 10 people 8 of them want to see you broken, only the 2 people care about you... so don't live for everyone, live for yourself and the ones who care about you... go out in the world and give everything you have to make your dream come true.... keep smiling and don't think of anyone's opinion about you...

many people will relate to this, so many of us hide our potential away incase we fail. i have for nearly all my life, only this year i have taken the risk of doing things , risking failiure and so far all has gone well :) if you are feeling this way..just go for it, you may suprise yourself :), great poem that talks real words well done :)
