Yet...You still feel the same.

Yet...You still feel the same.

A Poem by Uriah Ocean

Can you not see
The smile? I gave you so easily
My heart

Can you not tell?
Your eyes stare through my soul,
Only you notice I'm living a hell.

Trust is what I give
To those I deem possible
To deserve my heart.

So this is what you do?
Ignore it and continue life?
Do I really deserve to
feel your ignorance in my heart as strife?

All that time wasted
while no dreams were tasted
Who are you to abandon me?
Who are you to think you've seen worse?
Who are you to take my heart,
And almost make it burst?

Poems with so many questions
Usually show feelings of loneliness,
Of heartbreak and love aches,
disappointment, distrust, anger, and pain.
I go through all of this and yet
you still feel the same.
