Beach and the City

Beach and the City

A Poem by MoonShine

Alone at the beach the sunlights showers the sea
creating multiple gleams like bits of topez is scattered on the surface
Every turn you make, the winds are pushing past
No matter where you are, you hear the waves crash
You look up at the sky and you see a gull swim through the clear blue sky
You laugh as the day flies by

A few miles from the beach there is a city
All around the trash is littered in the streets
Every turn you make, people are pushing past
No matter where you are, you hear a honk of a car
You look up at the sky and all you see is grey smog
You sigh as the day crawls by
