A Poem by Will Fairlie

The inner workings of the human mind

elusive and obscured for all our time

expanding its trajectory limitless boundaries

the foundation from whence we came has long since been revisited

what was an establishment to be admired

is now teeming with corruption, our enemy

people keep their thoughts to themselves

or more often

their capacity to dilute the poison of propaganda

has been so diminished that they lack the ability to think for themselves

equally both as dangerous as abundant

they go through their lives expecting a miraculous handout

but wont put their efforts into changing their lives

for every person who is aware of the changes which need to be made

there are dozens more still left in the dark, avoiding the blatant truths

if we could only just somehow reverse this negative flow

allow the individuals the freedom to choose for themselves

to resist the temptations

ignore the illusions of overnight wealth and this dream of everything will be okay

acknowledge that real wealth is defined by personal value, the measure of your success

allow yourself to create your own sense of justice,

and defend this notion with your life

for if we all work tirelessly to break down the barriers

set before us by those who came before us

we will ascend to our maximum potential

untapped access to knowledge thought never attainable

the keys to every city of thought will be within our grasp

for we shall

never stop our ambitious venture forward

forever redefining the frontiers of human experience

if we keep our minds free of pollution

then we will forever have healthy awareness

a determined strive

a reason why

and ultimately

happiness
