Fake Friends

Fake Friends

A Poem by Will Nething
"

for all those that have ever been deceived or betrayed by someone

"
One day they're here;
The next day they've run.
One day they're near;
The next day they shun.

What I'd give to really know their mind.
'Cause you can't expect them to love you every day.
Are they being truly kind,
Or are they faking it hoping you will slowly fade away?

Friends like these are hard to please.
Can you get to know them without sounding dumb?
It seems like they do more than just to tease,
So if they get hurt, why should I come?

Friends like these, you don't really want.
You want someone who will always be there for you.
If you have to, come out straight and be blunt.
I don't want a selfish jerk. I need someone who can be comforting, faithful and true.

About
I am a sinner. I need Jesus. With Jesus I can and must love others. If I do not love others, it shows that I am a sinner. This shows that I need Jesus. And with Jesus help, I can and must love others... more..
