Capture Moment

Marker flags whip in the breeze

The sun clings to a cloudless sky

Such visions of November

Familiar scents fill the air

The man takes a moment

Sitting quietly lost in thought

Empowered by earth

Set free by wind

The valley structure less

Listen to singing nature

In the distance chainsaws

Echoing screams fade

Such a beautiful day

Sweet simple serenity

Breathe caress the mind

Smoke trickles into the sky

Exhale allows tension to pass

Children out for mischief

That’s where personality begins

Brown leaves cling

Into the last hope of warmth

Into slumber begins the trees

The trial a scab of perfections

Protection from flames breech

The moments past

Cigarette but snuffed

Hard hat on

To the work at hand
