Your Lies

 

they have become a way of life for you

now I understand

you weren't just singling me out

no

you lie to everyone!

 

all of the women you speak with

are lied to

who you are and where you're from

what you're about and what you believe

you are

hurting people

 

you are

a false man

 

through and through

how could I have been so blind?

why did I continue

when the signs were given to me

warnings

 

I know something

but I cannot say it

so much

we could have talked about and shared

so much

 

now that I get it

I am not as angry

in the same ways I was before

but

now I have a new anger

growing inside

at the thought of you

living in such deceit

this has shrouded your entire life

 

no wonder!

no wonder you speak to me in those voices and those roles!

you are for real-

and you really are speaking through them!

through this

words cannot convey

what I have been through

as a result of your carelessness and your lies

 

not to point a finger

but I need to tell you

my last problem with my body

was brought on by the stress of this

I have been in turmoil

confusion

depression

 

begging you for answers

begging you for clarity

and still you sat

and played your game

while I fell.

 

This is personal

my emotions do fuel my response

and depending on how I feel

I may or may not take this to

unthinkable levels tonight

showing you

just a taste

of what you have caused me to feel.

Write about because your writing skills are strong. Use your emotions in words and metaphors that reach out and grab�but whatever you do, don't get trapped in an endless loop or space of time that destroys your own purpose ...keep it pouring
