i want to float

as if to give myself away,
i am opening my eyes
for attempt to gather
things that are mine,
for the very first time.

opposite of me in the lake
where a family is drowning,
i am filled with sorrow soon
to sink within them,
i quickly bow my head to pray

for a day when i can float
on the same waters

Not alone
frequently , as kingfisher does,
nosedive whenever available
altogether like twined
deep, fast,breathless
