You Knew

You Knew

A Poem by wordman
"

"

If ever

you see my face,

in the spring,

or in the fall;

 during a gentle rain

when a flower blooms,

or a tree bursts forth its fruit,

think of me:

Remember,

that I loved you,

even though

I never told you.

But you knew,

you could feel my love,

in the falling dew

of the morning sun.

you knew.

You gave me peace,

you touched my soul,

you knew,

that I loved you so ...
